The board of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists has selected David Gonzalez and Gilbert Bailón as the 2013 NAHJ Hall of Fame inductees. They join the ranks of other past honorees: Rubèn Salazar, Cecilia Alvear, George Ramos, Geraldo Rivera, Ysabel Duron, Ernest Sotomayor,and Ray Suarez to name a few.

Gonzalez and Bailón have shown a commitment to journalism, the Latino community and NAHJ throughout their careers.

The veteran journalists will be honored on Monday, Aug.26, at the NAHJ Hall of Fame Gala.
