Bio:
Bianca Gisel Urbina was born and raised in Guanajato, Mexico. She grew up in a humble town where she spent twelve years of her life before moving to the U.S. Learning a new language made the transition difficult. In high school, Bianca was involved in a variety of activities, including the girls’ varsity soccer team, JROTC Unarmed Drill Team, Amigos Club, Ballet Folklorico, National Honor Society and Student Council. She graduated in the top five percent of her high school and received a scholarship to attend the Honors College at HCC. After receiving her associate’s degree, she transferred to UH.
