Houston man uses Toyota minivan to smuggle immigrants

Border Patrol agents arrested a Houston resident for having human cargo of half a dozen illegal immigrants.

According to the report of the case, Border Patrol agents detected a Toyota minivan in the area of rural road FM 2895 and Highway 59, about 13 miles west of the town of Freer. Federal agents watched as the driver of the unit headed for a ranch and they decided to intercept it.

The man said he worked in that area but did not bring keys to the gates, so the officers decided to check it. Six people were inside the minivan that happened to be undocumented immigrants from Mexico. Jorge Castillo who was the driver of the truck was placed under arrest.
