The Mexic-Arte museum located on Congress Ave in downtown Austin is the place to be. Composed of artifacts and paintings, this museum presents traditional and contemporary Mexican, Latino, and Latin America art. The museum brings to life the creative and colorful worlds of the Latino painters, all with imaginative and colorful ideas. The store displays private Mexican art collections that customers are attracted to. Although it is a small museum, it is a great place to visit in Austin. They always reach out to the Latino art community as well as encourage people to help support local Latin American artists.
