Millennial Latinos are currently lacking financial literacy education due in part to the cultural illiteracy of American financial institutions. With a median age of 28 and $1.5 trillion in buying power, according to a 2012 Nielsen report, the time is now for young Hispanics to invest in their future. EGMN and Ford have partnered up to bring the necessary financial education to a select group of highly motivated high school and college Hispanic students so they can be ambassadors for fiscal health in their respective communities and student organizations. Education is paramount among this demographic to establish long term thriving relationships between companies and these young consumers. Students should attend this event to:
