Holiday travelers expect large crowds, surprised by empty airport

The day before Thanksgiving is widely known as the busiest travel day of the year. That’s why people traveling for the 2013 holiday season through George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston were expecting to find long lines at the ticket counter and security. Instead, many thought the airport was rather empty and no more busy than usual.
