Construction is underway as the University of Houston prepares to host the last GOP debate before Super Tuesday. Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Ben Carson and John Kasich are set to hit the stage at the Moores Opera House on Feb. 25, and students are starting to weigh in on how the big event will affect them.

Despite the 800-seat debate being held on campus, only 25 tickets were given to UH to be distributed randomly. Those interested must enter their name into a raffle to win a pass into the event.

The university announced it would be closing off parking lots 16B, 16C and 16D beginning Feb. 24 at 10 p.m. and would reopen on Feb. 26 at 3 a.m. Cullen Blvd will also be closed between Holman and Elgin Streets from 10 p.m. Feb. 24 through 3 a.m. February 26.

Although university officials said classes would continue as scheduled, students have confirmed otherwise.
