The University of Houston hosted watch parties across campus for the 2016 Presidential Election. Some of the viewing sites were the M.D. Anderson Library, The Student Center South and Calhoun’s Rooftop.

We caught up with some students at the viewing party to talk about their thoughts on this year’s election.

Throughout the night the heavy favorite seemed to be Clinton amongst students although she trailed in the polls. There was even a loud cheer at the Student Center watch party when Clinton won California.

But there were also Trump supporters in the crowd. Many of them went to Calhoun’s Rooftop for the watch party.

There were even some third party voters who couldn’t come to terms on who to vote at the watch parties waiting for it all to unfold.
