The Peggy & Bill Shiffick Foundation Scholarship for UH undergraduate students in financial need will be dissolved and the remaining funds, $31,445 as of July, were placed into the general scholarship fund on August 31, 2017.

Established in 1997, the annual scholarship provided need-based, full-ride scholarships.

William “Bill” Shiffick was a Foley’s executive and mechanical engineer who worked on the Foley’s well known downtown Houston Location.  Peggy Shiffick helped launch Houston’s first public television station. The Shiffick’s estate funded the scholarship and two others at Houston universities.
