Rockets Even Series Against Warriors behind Hardens 38 Points

Coming off a hot 41 point Game 3 performance on Saturday , James Harden once again led the Houston Rockets past the Golden State Warriors by scoring 38 points on Monday night to even the series 2-2.
Eric Gordon finished with 20 points and P.J Tucker’s 10 rebounds led Houston to have opportunities both offensively and defensively.
Despite the loss, Kevin Durant finished the game with 34 points while Steph Curry had 30 points. Klay Thompson struggled and finished with 11 points. The defending champions look to bounce back on their home floor in Oracle Arena on Wednesday Night.
“ Felt like we were in a rush offensively all night and we’re at our best when we’ve got a bunch of playmakers out there and the ball is moving,” Warriors Coach Steve Kerr said.
Down 3 with 11.1 seconds left in the fourth quarter , the Warriors had two opportunities to tie the game but ultimately Durant and Curry both missed wide open threes and a final rebound by Chris Paul with a clutch free throw sealed the Rockets 108-112 victory in Houston.
Despite dropping the first two games in Oakland and being down 0-2, The Rockets have won two straight games of their own in Houston and look to continue their momentum in Game 5 while the Warriors look to defend their home court in Oakland.
“ We’ve got to better on the road. We’ve got to be more physical. We’ve got to impose our will more. The first two games wasn’t us .We had chances to win those games but we didn’t play our brand of basketball for the whole game,” Tucker said.
Both teams look to win in Game 5 in Oakland on Wednesday night.
