It was the night to remember for four Cougars senior fearwell day and winning thier first regular-season title for first time since 1992. Houston Cougars beat SMU 90-79 to improve 28-2(15-2) of the season.

UCF center Collin Smith scored 21 points and 7 rebound to lead UCF upset #8 Houston Cougars to end 33-game home win streak.

  For the first time ever that both team are ranked playing at Fertitta Center. Houston Cougars came out on top with 65-58 to improve 22-1(10-1) of the season.
